About

AJW Careers’ aim is to support employees going through redundancy and career transition.

My name is Andrea Juhasz-Wrench and I believe that any stressful (wanted or unwanted) career change needs to be supported to help fast transitioning into a new role.

At the core of my work is the focus on the most crucial elements of successfully finding a new role by providing individual help through fine-tuning applications and plans.

The gain can be measured by growth in skills development, self-awareness and self-confidence and the way in which individuals deal with the difficult change scenario.

Ultimately, even a small amount of support to help overcome difficult times can make a big difference to individuals and their closer and wider networks.

Background

I designed and delivered my first workshops and 1-2-1’s for adult learners in 2004. At the time I was contracted as a language teacher with trading and logistics companies and developed their staffs’ skill set through tailored courses and individual requirements. I also delivered courses in language schools to learners, who wanted to be more employable through their language skills.

Following that, I recruited and managed people in different roles for 10 years, mainly in the automotive industry. This gave me the understanding about what recruiting managers look for in candidates and what successful applications, including interviews, should look like.

More recently, I have been working with people from all backgrounds who have been out of work for a short or longer period of time. Most of them were made redundant in a wave of recent restructuring and received no support from their employers at the time.
